Best Exercises to Reduce Body Cellulite

Cellulite can be easily spotted on your different parts of your body. It is the dimpled, bumpy and orange peel like appearance that mostly shows up on women after the birth of their first child. Most commonly, it is seen on buttocks and thigh areas.

  • Boating

This exercise will benefit your lower and upper back, core, hips, thighs, hamstrings and buttocks. To do it, lie flat on floor on your tummy and keep your palms downward. Keep your core firm and lift your upper body and legs slowly. Then release slowly and repeat for a few times until you start feeling burn in your buttocks and hamstrings.

  • Squats

This exercise targets your thighs, hips and buttocks. Stand straight, place your feet on ground at shoulder-width distance. Lower down your body as if you are going to sit down on a chair. Keep your spine straight, do not let your knees go beyond the toes. Repeat it until you feel burn and strain in your legs.

  • Lunges

Lunges will not only help in getting rid of cellulite, it will also help in developing and maintaining balance. Stand straight with feet at shoulder-width distance. Place your one foot back and bend both knees so that they are parallel to the floor. Keep your back straight without being rigid. Do with other leg and repeat until you feel burn in your legs.

  • Half bridge lifts

This exercise targets your core, hamstrings, buttocks and thighs. Lie down, keep your knees bent and feet flat on floor. Point one leg straight up towards the ceiling, lifting your hips as high as possible. Do with another leg too. Repeat until you start feeling burn in your buttocks.

  • Super duper toners

Lie flat on the floor, keeping arms by the sides. Place your feet on a chair, and then lift your body up from your shoulders. During this, your head, shoulder and neck will be touching the floor, and rest of the body will come in a diagonal line. Try to put your body weight on your lower body without straining your arms.
